We had our wedding in July 2011 at Rathsallagh. We could not recommend it enough. From the time of booking our wedding the team at Rathsallagh were more than helpful. When we narrowed down our choices for the menu we had a tasting dinner which I highly recommend to help with making the final decision and putting your mind at rest as regards the quality of the food and wine which is suberb. The day was showery so we had our drinks reception in the house which worked well and staff set up an area in the wood panelled dining room for family photos. The bedrooms are very comfortable and there was no problem with filling them all on the night of the wedding which initially was a concern when we saw the price. The discount the hotel offered us on the rooms for the bridal party we decided to divide accross all the rooms making them slightly cheaper than the original price. On the day attention to detail was very much to the fore, the dinner service was seamless it was timed to perfection to have our speeches after dinner and the band playing on time!!! The food was plentiful with guests being offered second helpings of beef. The buffet breakfast at Rathsallagh is excellent and you will have to good very far to find a better variety of foods on offer. Our guests really enjoyed the atmosphere at Rathsallagh and the food. If your looking for a venue that has the convience of being in a hotel but is not your average run of the mill hotel Rathsallagh is very special and has the wow factor. The marquee has a lovely atmosphere and is beautiful when set up for a wedding and comfortably accommodates a large group. Apart from the place being beautiful the staff really help to set it apart from other venues as they have a strong team of wedding co ordinators who really know what they are doing and can advise you on every detail. We were concerned that there would be enough servers at the dinner and it would not be slow but they assured us of the numbers of staff that would be there how the whole day would be timed and it went brilliantly thanks to their careful planning and attention to detail.
They were always a pleasure to deal with and nothing was ever too much hassel.

I got married in Rathsallagh House in July 2011 and it exceeded all my expectations. I looked at venues all over the country and even went to Italy in search for the perfect venue. Rathsallagh was the last place we looked at as we had heard little about it and none of our friends had got married there-we just hit on it by chance and we so delighted when they extended to cater for weddings over 100 people. If you want somewhere private for your guests and wedding party, a place with character and a homely feel, then Rathsallagh is the place for you! The driveway, house and gardens are beautiful and there is no need to go anywhere else to have photos taken- amazing setting and manicured to the last! My guests loved the food-we had so many compliments- if food is your thing, you won't be disappointed!You really do have the run of the place and this is down to the staff and owners- everyone was honestly so helpful and couldn't do enough for us!Really personal and caring...I can't talk highly enough of the place. Am a very fussy person and Rathsallagh surpassed all my hopes and wished for the day!!!!I'm returning in January for a getaway break and can't wait!

Me and the hubby wanted to say a massive thank you to the team in Rathsallagh, our big day in June couldn't have been more special. The food was stunning and got numerous compliments from our guests and is still a talking point 6 months later. The team looking after us were so kind, patient, friendly, efficient; I didn't have to ask for a thing on the day, it was all done without a bother and was totally slick and amazingly well run. It felt like they'd have done anything for us on the day.

Of course the venue itself is lovely, really quirky and generally a lovely place to have your wedding. We had a civil ceremony which was in the dining room which was perfect for our requirements - we were able to work with the team to get the flowers, layout etc exactly as we wanted it. The reception room then was spacious, classy and perfect for us all to enjoy the evening.

I couldn't recommend Rathsallagh enough, in fact I am a massive fan of the place and the people now and we can't wait to go back next year for a visit!

Myself and my husband (Mark) held our wedding reception at Rathsallagh House on 23rd September 2011. I don't think I could speak highly enough about both the venue itself and the high standards of service that were delivered by all the staff.

From the moment Mark and I met with the staff at Rathsallagh I knew we had made the right choice in wedding venue. We had previously visited a number of venues across Ireland, but Rathsallagh stood out as being one of the best and they certainly overdelivered on the day.

They were highly organised, right down to the detail. on the day of our reception they kept in contact with us to ensure our every need was catered for. The food was absolutely amazing and the house and grounds provided a great location for photographs.

I don't think we can recommend Rathsallagh highly enough - it is a superb wedding location!

We had our wedding at Rathsallagh house in september 2009 and it really was the best day EVER!! I know I'm biased it really was just perfect. We planned our wedding living in London and the wedding staff Jennifer, Gillian and the girls were amazing. The house is so homely and warm, all the staff were amazing and attended to our every need. The attention to detail and all the little things that we would never have thought of made it such a great wedding weekend. I loved the way we could book out the whole house for the weekend and even our little family dog was made welcome. Our friends and family still frequently talk about the fillet steak being the best steak they have ever eaten! The gardens are so beautiful, perfect for wedding photos. We attended another family wedding there is year and it's lovely to see that service is outstanding as ever. I wish we could go back and do it all again. Rathsallagh will always hold a special place in our hearts and I couldn't recommend more highly.

I was at two weddings in Rathsallagh in the last year and cannot speak highly enough of the venue. Both weddings were in the new wedding Pavillion and everything was excellent food, service, atmosphere and the staff. The walled garden is lovely and if the weather is right, ideal for the drinks reception beforehand.

I was lucky enough to be staying there for the two weddings and had beautiful bedrooms and the award winning breakfast is an experience not to be missed.
