Your wedding day is a day to remember, and your wedding day at Dublin Zoo is not only a day for you but also all your guests to remember. We got married in Dublin Zoo in August 2010 and our guests are still talking about it to this day, (Feb '12), saying how it stood out from the rest!
A private room that was decorated just to our liking, flowers to match in with our colour scheme and a red carpet as I walked down the aisle. The room also has a balcony which offers a unique view of the Zoo grounds. You can have special a guest at your wedding too, we had Brian the Python come to our reception. He was a great hit with our guests as much with the adults as the children. The staff will work with you in anyway to make your day special, help you interact with the animals, within reason of course.
After we became man and wife we headed off to meet and feed the giraffes and had a lovely walk in the Zoo.
Aoife was a great help with our special day, great communication throughout and did so much to make sure everything was how we wanted it to be. It took the pain and stress out of it. She couldn't have done more to make it easy. And you will NEVER get nicer pictures than a day at the zoo.
I Worried about rain on my big day just like most brides -after all it is Ireland- but with this room, balcony and museum you and your guest will be well sheltered so one less thing to worry about.
We would no hesitation in recommending Dublin Zoo as a venue for your wedding and have done so.

We had the most amazing wedding ceremony at Dublin zoo in September 2010. Everything went off without a single problem. Our coordinator was super helpful with all the preparations and was there throughout the ceremony to help get people into place and make sure we had nothing to do but say 'I Do'.

The venue itself is perfect, we easily fit 70 people in and were told numerous times by our guests how cosy and intimate they thought it was. Many people that came with children even came a bit early and had a little walk around the farm before the ceremony so the kids really enjoyed the day too! And with the beautiful surroundings our photographer (which was recommended to us by our coordinator) got spectacular pictures, as did our guests!

All in all it was exactly what we wanted, a relaxed, unique and most importantly fun place to get married that we will remember forever.

Our wedding day in Sneem was a dream come through. Louise and Nicole were fantastic to deal with. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the Sneem hotel. All the staff were so friendly and made a huge effort to make our wedding day very personal and special. All our guest were hugely impressed with the hotel and the staff.The rooms and apartments are beautiful. The Bridal suite was so elegantly decorated. The food was out of this world. It is very hard to put into words just how great this hotel is. The personal touches Louise and Nicole did for our wedding day and their attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations. I could not find any fault with The Sneem Hotel and would recommend any couple to book this hotel for their wedding. We have wonderful memories of our wedding day in Sneem that we will cherish forever.

Myself and my wife got married in Sneem hotel in July 2011. From day one when we arrived looking for a prospective wedding venue, up until the day we were leaving after our wedding, we were given the highest level of attention. Sneem hotel itself is a fantastic wedding location with beautiful scenery and a lovely quaint village close by. Theres plenty of parking for guests, the rooms are spacious and have reasonable rates. They have the option of apartments adjacent to the hotel for families or those who wish to share. The village of Sneem itself is lovely with plenty to see and do, everywhere you go you always receive a warm welcome. Louise, Nicola and the hotel staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. All hotel staff are happy to engage in friendly conversation and seem genuinely interested in chatting. All guests were well looked after on the wedding day and above all else, the food was outstanding!!, with the majority of our guests commenting on how that was the nicest food theyve ever had at a wedding. We cant wait to go back again.

Excellent food & service. The Woodlands Hotel helped us on our biggest day in every way they could, very impressed.

You dream of your big day being the perfect wedding... Sneem hotel for us made it just that!! From the first day we went to visit the venue to going back there for our anniversary a year later we were treated like old friends. Louise & Nicola worked tirelessly to make the planning of our big day hassle free, the day itself flawless and the memories unforgetable. We had our wedding in March 2011. The woodlands hotel is a perfect venue to have your wedding. They were a pleasure to work with from the very first day we went out to view the hotel to the last day. The hotel itself is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are ideal for pictures. The staff were very helpfull with everything on the day which made the day go perfect. I would highly recommend the Woodlands Hotel Adare to any couple looking for a venue. Could not ask for better.
