Hotel Ideally situated in centre of Dublin near to Temple Bar. Staff helpful as we arrived early but were able to store our luggage so that we could explore Dublin, as bar and restaurant were not open (We'd just missed breakfast) they were able to recommend somewhere to grab something to eat. However the weather in Dublin turned out to be shocking and we needed to recollect our luggage to change clothes. Again staff very helpful. Reception area clean and tidy (although decorators were working there - the disruption was minimal)
Room was clean - bed was large - bathroom was clean and ok - good shower - liked the idea that all the non smoking rooms were on one floor. Was really wary when reading reviews that said that the hotel was noisy, but we had no problem with noise on the night we stayed. Didn't manage to book a meal and see the irish show due to a prior arrangement, but had a couple of drinks in the bar during our stay and liked the cosy and relaxed atmosphere .
Great nights sleep, breakfast the morning after was excellent - all you can eat, and wide choice - both Irish and continental.
Would definitely recommend it.
